Zhejiang Machinery and Electrical Group Trading Department Continues Its Participation in the 138th Canton Fair

The first phase of the 138th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) concluded successfully in Guangzhou on October 19. This edition set a new record with 157,946 overseas buyers in attendance, representing 222 countries and regions—a 6.3% increase compared to the previous session. 

At this globally renowned event, Zhejiang Machinery and Electrical Group Trading Department stood out as a focal point for numerous domestic and international clients, thanks to its comprehensive product range and professional exhibition. Through nine specialized exhibition zones, the Trading Department showcased products such as power tools and automotive accessories, attracting over 260 global buyers. On-site signed orders reached USD 500,000, accompanied by nearly 30 potential orders, highlighting the Trading Department ’s strong appeal in the international market.

In the automotive parts section, the Trading Department welcomed more than 100 buyers, primarily from Asia, along with active participation from clients in Turkey, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Peru, Brazil, Greece, as well as buyers from Russia and Europe. The section buzzed with dynamic negotiations, resulting in multiple intentional orders, particularly from buyers in Peru, Brazil, and Greece, with follow-ups currently underway. 

The tools section also delivered an impressive performance, receiving over 160 visitors, mainly from Eastern Europe and Asia, supplemented by buyers from India, Russia, Bangladesh, Turkey, Vietnam, Brazil, and a limited number of European and American countries. During the exhibition, five confirmed orders totaling approximately USD 500,000 were secured, largely from Indian clients. An additional 20 intentional orders, mostly from India, with interest also from Canada and Russia, are under further discussion.

The success of this phase underscores the competitiveness and global appeal of Chinese manufacturing. Moving forward, the Trading Department will continue to leverage international platforms like the Canton Fair to deepen cooperation with global clients and promote more high-quality products worldwide.
